Wooden Gates
Our wooden / timber gates offer privacy and security all in one. We offer both soft wood and hard wood gates and will discuss the merits of both materials to suit your needs.
The gates are designed in such a manner to minimise water traps. We ensure the joints are glued and screwed to the highest standard to avoid any sagging of the timber. This along with our ledged and bracing system provides a great deal of stability and gives you an end product that will withstand the harsh weather conditions.
All our Timber is treated and dyed before assembled together, this allows for preservative to penetrate areas on the gates that would not be accessible after the construction stage.
We offer a range of stains and finishes for our gates. Please do not hesitate to mention if you have any other finishes in mind and we will discuss them with you.
Our aim is to provide a product that will ensure security and ease of maintenance.
All our hardware is manufactured and painted prior to installation.

And our fully adjustable self manufactured Vertical / Horizontal Hinging System. These allow for a very easy long term adjustment solution rather than the original fixed hinging systems which allowed no leeway.
We install all our products if required and design and manufacture all fixing plates / brackets / steel posts / anchoring systems to ensure that they are suited for the job in hand.
If timber gates are to be hung off brick walls / pillars timber battens are fixed to either of these using our specialist fixing method which allows full adjustment for walls / pillars that are out of level.
We offer a couple of different options to our traditional timber gates:
- Steel Frame Wooden Cladded Gates
- Steel Reinforced Wooden Gates
Both offer a very practical means of longevity which will stand the test of time due to the way they are constructed by framing or reinforcing the gate with a painted steel frame.
Our Reinforced option completely eliminates any water traps and is by far our most maintenance free option with all rain water running straight off the bottom of the gates and the top is protected with a protective clapping strip and drip groove.
